What is Tarot?

What started as a 12th century Italian card game eventually transformed into a sacred practice of reflection, world building, and empowerment.

The Tarot (typically) is 78 Cards portraying symbols and images that inspire questions, reflections, and insight. The magic is not in the cards themselves but in the history, the legacy, and the creative spirit that maintains this tradition through today.

What is my approach to Tarot?

I have been studying and practicing Tarot for the last eight years. While I was in seminary, I started to take Tarot more seriously as a spiritual practice and as a tool for spiritual care. Informed by Lindsay Mack’s “Soul Tarot” and her Wild Soul Tarot course methodology, I approach Tarot as a tool for care, reflection, and curiosity. Even the most bitter of medicines in the Tarot have the power to deepen our awareness, offer connection and empower us as we navigate our lives. At the center of my practice is to offer grounded spaces for care, reflection, and dialogue. Your wisdom is invited and honored in my readings.

I do not tell the future. I do not commune with spirits. I have immense respect for those traditions and I acknowledge that they are not traditions I carry.
