Who is Nathan Bakken?

My Story:
Hi, my name is Nathan Bakken (they/them), I first want to say welcome and thank you for your curiosity!
I am a white, queer and trans, nomadic spiritual care practitioner and writer raised on unceded Duwamish land (Seattle, WA) currently based on unceded Ohlone land (Oakland, CA). In 2017, I earned my Master of Divinity and Master Certificate in Conflict Transformation from Boston University School of Theology, where I focused my course work around the spiritual and theological life of LGBTQIA+ people and theologies of liberation. In 2019, I was certified as spiritual director through Still Harbor. I am what you could call a Seminary Certified Witch. I exist comfortably at the intersections of American Christianity and European/Queer Folk Religions. I have studied and practiced Astrology since the age of 12, and Tarot since the age of 19.
